Suggest you have battery tested.

The test should involve watching the battery voltage while applying a load across

the battery. electronic battery tester NBG in my experience.

Suggest also you touch +ve and -ve leads together prior to re installing battery to

re boot jag.

Try starting engine again after 24 hours

Hi daddyo,

If the battery voltage sags much below 11 volts while cranking, the Engine Control Module (ECM) will not trigger the ignition to fire, so meirion1's advice to have the battery load tested would be your best first step.

To follow up on BlackKat's suggestion, while cranking the engine the tachometer should show around 200 rpm. If it shows 0 rpm, it is possible the Crankshaft Position Sensor (CKPS) has failed, but you will have to be sure you have adequate battery voltage while cranking in order to be certain.

Cheers,

Don
