Twins
Hi to all the X350/X358 enthusiasts out there.
I recently searched on my VIN number (without the last 5 digits) and was surprised to find in Japan a car with exactly the same spec, colour (color) and options as mine.
This probably doesn't seem so special, but my car is a 2008 SuperV8 LWB, of which I understand only 50 were made for RoW.
Both cars have the same trim and options, that I can see. They also have the same cryptic rear badges, which are XJ8L and Sovereign. The one big difference is that the one in Japan has less than 22,000 Km, which is about an eighth of what mine has.
The car in Japan is on the site shown on the front plate, Tanabu Auto , but needs translation to see in English. It is also listed on GooNet. The price is 2.79 million Yen, about $NZ 44K.
Have any other members found their twin?
Pete

I do have two distant relatives in my shed, as per my signature.
Thanks for replying, I usually seem to be able to kill threads in a single post!

Agreed, it's over the top, but interesting to see another the same. I don't think it's mine, as I have already found mine on the auction site from 2012.
