bump on an old thread. Anyone done this? Any idea how much work (time -- labor wise) is required?

The only 4 folks that I know of that have both bars are cby210 (XF), klfong (XJ X350), ss23 (F-Type), & jahummer (XKR X150). If they don't post up in this thread maybe you could send them a PM

Because all of them are literally spread out across the planet the labor rates may or may not be of any use to you. I would check out a local independent and ask. Gotta be better than what a dealership would charge

At least on the XF the amount of work required (remove front subframe, mount the engine, and remove rear exhaust) makes this upgrade imho very cost ineffective way to improve handling. You looking at 8-10 hrs of labor just to do the work. Unless you are already in the vicinity bc of another issue. I ask; why bother?

Personally, I wouldn't do just the sway bars by themselves unless there was something wrong with them and they needed replacement. I'd do it along with shocks/springs and poly bushings. Better to do everything all at once. Only changing one part of the suspension at a time is always going to be less cost effective, just like anything else

Agreed. If I ever did this much suspension work; I would replace every rubber bushing that I can see unless it has been recently changed. Sway bars & new bushings go hand in hand like Cola & Ice

Sorry I can't tell you how long it took and what it entailed as it was all done by my workshop, but you won't regret it as it really cuts the body roll which the non-active aftermarket shock absorbers greatly increase. It's much more exaggerated compared to the original sports air-shocks.

Ideally it's best to do everything at one go, but I had mine done later as I didn't realise how much worse the body roll would be, compared to the original sports air-shocks, after I changed to the coil-spring shocks units. Only then did I find out about the availability of the uprated anti-roll bars.

Where are those available for sale? I can't find them online anywhere.

PS. I am doing a tranny mount this week and the shop will take a look at the suspension and see if anything else needs replacement. If I am in the vicinity anyway; I may bite the bullet.

My biggest question is if those ARB actually fit a x350.Jaguar part numbers should cross reference.

Unfortunately I can't seem to find any of the e-bay ads for the uprated ARB now either. They were still available 1-2 years ago from Korea.

All of the DEW98-based platform Jaguars used mixed-matched sets of the same ARB's. There's a thread on here by Cambo where this is documented and discussed

A few years ago I noticed that all of the listings were coming from the same Parts Combined seller on eBay. They even had klfong's install pictures, and the parts are still from Korea
