Valeo ballast

The Chinesium ballasts do work -- the one on my XJ has held up fine for the past three years. Looking at replacement OE Valeo ballasts online, nothing out there that I've been dug up is a 12-pin ballast.
If you've pulled the headlight assembly and ballast, you should be able to find the Valeo part number... That would go a long ways toward finding one. If you're wanting to find a used one in the junk yards, the same ballast is used on the same era Cadillac SRX, Chrysler 300C, Saab 9-5, and a few other cars.
Happy hunting-

07 xj if lights are original it is Valeo LAD5GL 4 pin.
IF Replacement from early model with leveling motor then Lad5g . IF YOU BUY NEW ONES FOR THOSE LEVELING IS NOT SUPPORTED.
Any Way check again 07 xj does not have leveling. The airsuspension does that and you do not have 4 heightsensors but 3 ( those would give the info to the headlights
