Default Vanden Plas Front Grille

I wanted to try the mesh front grille, so I went for a 48"x12" sheet that I had to cut and fit:
Robot Check Robot Check
It's a good bit less expensive than getting something pre-cut, but if you're not a craftsman and don't have a lot of patience I wouldn't recommend it as being worth the savings.
It was very challenging getting the right fit around the plastic tabs because of the nature of the aluminum mesh. I'm satisfied. See what you think...

Nice work! I would recommend that you keep an eye on the coolant temperature gauge as a caution.

Your grille job looks great! Did you use a kit?
How does the lower grille come apart?
I'd have to buy some more mesh to do that ...

Default lower grill

Thanks Kbeachy.. I actually bought the lower grill on ebay. Top was there already; bit there are just 2 screws to undo, pop the "grill boxes" out (I can't think of what they're called now) haha; bit the black pieces pop out, & the lower mesh I purchased was/is pre-cut to got of course. Screw it into the housing that holds the fog lights along with 2 more you make, & voila!..

The previous owner had that done or ordered. I added the SS Mesh. I use the Gold or the White grill on different occasions.
