I am dealing with an ECM reprogramming issue on my X350. (VERONA TX TIMEOUT)
I am getting some GREAT help from other guys here on the forum, but I would like to rule out a PC/Adapter issue.
Car was previously fine, until I attacked it with software.

I have used a clone Mongoose, that started the troubles, and now have a cloned VCM.
Now, it maybe that I have other issues, but I cannot rule out the VCM either as I have not previously had confirmation it is fully capable.

Would anyone be prepared to share a VCM known to be able to program an ECM?
I am in the Santa Clara, San Jose, Gilroy area.

Sorry to hear about your troubles but can't say I'm surprised at no responses.

Probably for exactly the same reason you have clones, only a tiny number of members even have a genuine Mongoose and genuine VCM's will be a rarity.

Thanks Graham, I am determined to understand and resolve the issue. Seems most communications goes through one interface bus CAN, but the re programming treaties specific timing on the Serial bus.
Have an official interface now on order.

Will share learnings and what not to do once I undo what I did.
