@reece

Firstly, welcome. For new members you should go to the "New Members" forum and introduce yourself. This lets the board moderators see you and they will start the process of allowing you rights to post pictures, etc on your account.

Also, it is very helpful if you put your car make and model in your signature, or at the very least tell us about it in your first post.

I am only guessing that you have a newer XJ, ie 2009 onwards, or X351 as it is referred to here, as that car has the digital dashboard.

If that's the case your post needs to be moved to the correct forum (by a moderator) before you will get help

The quick guide says:

The speedometer can be configured for KPH or MPH via the Vehicle Settings menu.

If you change from kph to mph, it might only change after turning the engine off and back on again, but as you're in the X350 forum, but have the later X351 model with a virtual instrument panel, almost nobody on here knows much about it, I'm afraid. Have you posted on the X351 forum yet ?
