Default Voltage irregularities??

A couple of days after picking up my new 2011 XLJ, supercharged, certain things started to work intermittently (e.g. The massage option on the passenger seat, the iPod connection, no I don not have the new phone, etc.). Then while the care was in sports drive, in second gear, I was stopped at a red light. When the light turned green, the car would not accelerate although the RPMs were revving. After two separate attempts of putting the car into park and drive, the car finally recognized the drive gear and accelerated again. The car is has been at the dealer's shop for one week. The sense that I am getting is that the techs in England can't figure out what's wrong so the shop in NY doesn't know what software patch to install. Has anyone had this experience?

You're in the wrong section - this is X308 (XJ8 and XJR) from 98-03... Don't even know if there's a section for your brand new car, you might try in General Tech Help?

Fitz, Unless this got moved you are in the current area for your car - 2004+. The new XJ is so scarce at present, there is not much to relate yet. We do have a few here that have them and maybe they can chime in.

It appears you're in the wrong section yourself, QuadManiac. This is the X350 forum, 04-10.

This thread was moved by myself , until a new forum comes out for the newest XJ ,it's advised to use X350 Forums for 2011 model year

Cadillac I'm sorry but I can't help my self anymore, since I joined the Jaguar Forums, I ve always wanted to ask you a question but I figured itd be rude or creepy to ask it, but its been 2 years and i think i cant live with it anymore so i ll ask but feel free to ignore it, i ve always wondered who that nice woman in your signature is, its okay if you dont wanna tell or something, and please dont think im having some sick thoughts about her or something, its just something i was wondering in a harmless way, i mean i respect whoever she is im just asking.i hope u dont get me wrong.

You're welcome to ask who she is .She is Charlize Theron
I know you mean no harm by asking who she is lol . You are not the 1st to ask her and nor will be the last
I got a couple of pms too .And guess what ? They were asking who she was .
