Default Water hose under supercharger

Hi, I understand that there is a water hose that runs in between the V below the supercharger in the XJR. Can anyone tell me what is the name and what it connects to and/or part number for this hose?

I'm trying to get a spare ordered (as they don't seem to keep spares for the XJR over here in Singapore) in case I need to take off the supercharger to replace the two knock sensors in the engine, one of which is giving an intermittent fault and gives me a restricted performance indicator. Thanks

Replace all the hoses that you take off as this is a big job and you will only want to do once

Thanks very much. I've already had this done once 6 years ago when the pipe leaked but I didn't get the part numbers from the Indy then unfortunately, and I didn't keep the damaged hose as a sample too (I will this time). The parts list gives a total of 5 hoses.

Part Number Description Qty
AJ89746 Cooling hose to TB 1

This is the main failure item

AJ88507 EGR to TB cooling Hose 1
AJ811758 Coolant hose EGR to throttle body 1
C2C18160 Intercooler inlet cooling hose 1
C2C18181 Intercooler return hose 1

Can I check if the other 4 hoses are also buried under the S/C or can they actually be reached separately subsequently if they need to be changed, without taking off the S/C. I think my supercharger seals were changed about 3 years ago when I replaced the supercharger with a new one as the old one was making a lot of noise due to bearing wear....

Can I also ask, what does the particular brake kit in the parts list do?

Thanks very much for your help.

I'm thinking of doing this preemptively since I need to take off the S/C anyway to replace my knock sensors (sigh....).

I really wish there was a silicone hose kit to replace this troublesome rubber hose.

I know this is an older thread but I bet a lot of folks use it to replace those poorly designed hoses. I am curious if any one has replaced rubber hoses with PVC, copper, or aluminum conduit or some other slow deteriorating material to end forever the possibilities of future failure. I have this issue on both my 02 XKR and 04 XJR along with bank 1 knock sensor.

Thanks
