Default water pump design changed, still leaking

I'm hunting some coolant leak, so I changed water tank, water pump and one hose.
The water pump looks different and I still have leaking near the pump.

The old pump has lots of rubber rund the intake, even some kind of O-ring.
The pump I bought doesn't show any rubber at all. Just the main gasket is there.

Did i get the wrong pump ?

Nobody sells that style pump anymore.

The new ones are mostly FLAT across and no longer insert into the inlet cavity.

I just installed a new AC Delco pump and it looked a lot like the one I removed, (and the one shown in the pictures) with the o-ring. If you look on Rock Auto’s website you will see a lot of water pumps still like the original. There are also some that have the protrusion with no o-ring and it looks like they only go into the engine about one half of an inch. No o-ring. Are you sure your leak isn’t from the thermostat housing. Some have thought the water pump was leaking but it was the housing leaking down on top of the pump. I hate chasing leaks. Good luck.

I forgot to mention, that I also changed thermostat O-ring.. With an endoscope, I looked after engine run and the orange juice was close to the gasket of the waterpump.
As I installed the pump according to procedure (torque and degrees), I'm not sure, what went wrong.
I'm not sure whether the gasket will work if I remove and reinstall the waterpump.

Dayco DP804 and ACDELCO252800 are pumps with rubber. They don't seem to be available in europa, only US.
Nevertheless I'll try to get one.
Ordered one at RockAuto. thanks to
Rancheroguy for guiding me

dealer/motorcraft pump are the only two piece made with gaskets that work. hutchinson airtex or any of the china specials have some pos cardboard gasket that just doesn’t seal.

you need a ton of rtv or else it’s a comeback in the making and then you need to hope the cardboard sealing the case halves isn’t garbage.

acdelco is the same as the old style with wers numbers starting as 96jv and 2w93, plastic lip with o-ring and metal gasket. only difference is they have a smaller metal impeller

You need AC Delco pump with the gasket and o ring.

There is another style of pump for sale, it's cheaper but NBG.
