Hello everyone;
I'm replacing my water pump on my 2005 4.2L VandenPlas and one of the water pump pulley retaining bolts snapped. The manual says to replace the (3) water pump pulley retaining bolts, but I cant find any.
Does anyone know who sells these bolts?
I guess if I'm replacing the water pump pulley retaining bolts, I should replace the (5) water pump bolts too.

Pretty sure they are just M6 x 1.00mm bolts with an 8mm hex head.

 

Look for fasteners in the phone book, or on the computer.
Then go with grade 8, or better. bolts the correct thread,& length.

 

While I was fixing an oil leak, Don B recommended: McMaster-Carr. Once you get the proper specs, they will likely have them.

In the Seattle area, we are fortunate to have branches of Tacoma Screw scattered conveniently. They are pros & if you take your old ones in, they can size & spec them.

 

Thanks everyone for the advice. I ended up using the McMaster-Carr website. None of the automotive stores and hardware stores nearby had the bolts.
