Light brown - both are the same color

 

Hmmm, I suspected as much. The Jaguar dealer where I was going to have the transmission fluid flushed claims the ZF Jaguar fluid they use is bright red and they push the old fluid out until it turns the color of the new red fluid for $300.

 

I am new XJR owner. How do you check tranny fluid level??
