Well done. Happy Motoring !! Did they come with the tyres too, as they don't look too worn ?
No, these came off a X351, so the tires are the wrong sizes.
I did get the TPMS sensors too, but the newer sensors are probably different? If I remember correctly somewhere along the way they switch from a 315mhz to a 433. More forum digging will probably answer that one.
Front tyres on the X351 should be the same as the X350...if it's a staggered set then the rears would be wider, but *should* just fit. What's the size & offset, and the tyre sizes?
The tires were 245/40-20 in the front and 275/35-20 in the back. Slightly thinner in the front, and slightly wider in the back. These will function until I can find the "right" wheels and can be re-sold when I'm done for, hopefully, about what I have in them.
The offset is supposed to be the same. They came of a 2011 XJL.
It's been a while, but I thought I would share a picture with the wheels installed. I don't like them as much as the original wheels, but they are pretty nice.
On a separate note: do the exhaust tips look stock? There is some cursive signature that I can't make out on the top of the outlets and I wondered if perhaps they were changed at some point. Everything looks stock to me, but I've not seen stock exhausts stamped with anything except factory badges.
No those are not the factory Portfolio exhausts. Which is a pity because the Portfolio had some special exhaust finishers that are no longer available to buy from Jaguar...
The wheels do fit fine, but I have only driven it around the lot as other parts of the repair aren't done yet.
I figured out the exhaust is by Mina Gallery, which isn't extraordinary? I do like the way it sounds, but I don't a stock exhaust to compare with. It's got a deep rumble without being load, and is not very audible in the cabin.
