Wheel fitment for Super V8

Hi all, dealing with loud, scalloped summer tires with at least one sidewall bubble, I decided to go ahead and replace them. Considering my mostly pock-marked, pot-holed commute, I also decided to back down to 18's from the super v8's 19s. I found a light 18" wheel with an elegant spoke design -- the Enkei Ammodo -- on Tirerack and ordered. I emailed Enkei regarding center cap specs, an they responded, but also reported concern about whether the wheel would fit Jags (or Super V8s in particular). I've included the message below, does it sound like they are talking about off-set? Does anyone think I can figure this out without actually putting the wheel on?
"Thank you for contacting Enkei. While the Ammodo is certainly offered in the correct 5x108 bolt pattern for your vehicle, we are generally very cautious when fitting wheels on Jaguars for two reasons.
1) This car has a very large brake caliper that is extended laterally from the hub much more than many other cars. This can cause the spokes of some wheels to hit the caliper.
2) Because the hub is quite "long", there have also been some reports of the center cap not fitting on to the wheel correctly with the wheel mounted on to the car. Regarding your question about the fitment of the OE Jaguar cap, this is not something we have been able to test. In many cases, the OE center cap comes very close to fitting aftermarket wheels, but differing design of mounting tabs may prevent the cap from being properly secured in the wheel.
For these reasons, we would strongly advise visiting your local Enkei dealer for a test fit on this car."
