Default Wheel paint

I need to touch-up the 19" Custom wheels on my 2005 XJ8. Does anyone know what kind of paint is a close match to the original metallic silver and where I might obtain it? A paint or colour code?

Thanks!

I have the same wheels and my suggestion would be to take them all to a re-furbishing shop and get them straightened and powder coated. A patch job is never going to look any better that the scrapes your trying to cover. Also 3 out of 5 of mine were bent and I bet some of yours are too.

Good Luck
Jeff

A lot of Jaguar alloys are painted with "Jaguar sparkle silver", might be worth getting a small touch up kit from ebay, I have done for some of mine over the years

Thank you roviw. Much appreciated! I'll look for Jaguar Sparkle Silver.

Cheers

Since my old Lexus LS had strong wheels and powder coating , I was concerned about how to repair my XJR wheels when I bought it since they were curbed pretty badly.
I discovered that the XJR wheels were pretty soft (bend easily) and appeared to have been sprayed with normal paint . So no harm in sanding and wet painting .
Maybe I should have taken them to a shop to have them straightened and powder coated. But since they looked pretty straight (with tires off), I used spot putty on the curb rash , sanded and spray bombed them with a finish coat of spray can clear. Cheap, and they look great!
A bit time consuming , plus they are not a durable as powder coating of course .
edit. Oh!. Since I sprayed all the wheels, matching the silver was not a concern. So sorry, I don't have a direct match color.
