Hi all.
Just purchased dream car, black XJR (2003 - 2009 model), though gutted that I accidentally broke the nearside wing mirror off.
I've been searching online for advice on where to source the complete housing and how to fit, but can't find either.
Does anyone have any pointers to links I can read up?
The wing mirror is folding electric, mirror direction election and with a downward facing light on the bottom surface of the housing.
Never completely broke off, though I can see where the metals has sheared off and it was hanging. Using some glue and some ugly insulating tape I've put it back on for the time being, though sure many of you can empathise that I won't rest until it's all replaced.
(Want to have it pristine for the June Stirling Jag meet-up.)
Thanks again in advance.
Jim

https://www.autoreservejaguar.com/ Try these very good, to replace the mirror simply remove the door card and there is a small cover on the inside of the door on the opposite side of the mirror remove this also, follow the wiring loom and disconnect then undo the bolts that hold on the mirror
