Default Where is the low pressure valve on XJ?

I bought some AC Pro because my air conditioner was running a little hot. Oddly, I get cold air out of only one of my four vents. But I can't find the low pressure valve to add refrigerant. I found the compressor and tracked it as far as I could without having to remove any components. Is the valve ON the compressor? Can I DIY this thing? Any input would be appreciated. My car is a 2008 XJ VDP.

They are right in front of the area where the window wash fluid refill is which is on the drivers side up near the firewall. They are in plain sight with nothing in the way. Both high and low valves are there.

Great. Thanks. Those valves were so far from the compressor I wasn't sure if they belong to the AC.

Just use the proper Freon. DO NOT put stop leak crap in like ACPro.

Do not add Freon unless you are low. If you are low you have a leak. Fix the leak and then recharge with the proper amount of Freon.

None of these miracle cures does anything but screw up your A/C system. Keep it clean at all costs.

Have you checked the pressures? Do you have a set of gauges and know what the high and low side pressure should be?

Well, I put in the AC Pro and the air is ice cold. The pressure gauge on that freon showed it to be low. I didn't use an independent set of pressure gauges. What could adding AC Pro do to harm the cooling system? All I know now is that its working great. There may be a slow leak as no coolant has been added for probably six years. Hope I didn't screw up the system but I'm prepped for the summer at least.
