Seriously, there's been more than a few members like myself who have used a chinese clone mongoose cable, and authentic jaguar SDD software to lower their car using just the 'calibration' procedure. There's a right-up on the forums, just search for 'cloned dealer scan tool' and you'll find the cable, and probably even the link to step by step instructions by Cambo for doing the software height adjustment. Its really easy.
I invested $200, I think after cable and software. Now I can do more than just the regular OBD stuff, including turning on/off features like global close, side mirror dipping, drive-away locking (drove me nuts!), etc. Its paid for itself 10x over by now.
