29 single and yes it's the xjr

So I'm taking the average down
Bought an Volvo estate when I was 23, the 855 turbo with rica setup

Responsible drive I guess......
Hope the Jaguar will be he equil in reliability...

What is the deal with this?!
My dad sold/gave me his x350 when i was 16..a 2005 VDP. He gave me 20% when he originally bought the car when i was in 7th grade(2005) since he knew i would get the car when i was 16 anyway, and since i was the one pushing for the Jag.

Yes same here, I'm 25 and I've got my XJR when I was 23.
It was the XJR,
the Maserati quattroporte
or the cls 55.
I found that the XJR reflected my character the best.

40 here.....the only regret I have is not getting the SuperV8 .... Our VDP is a beautiful car and serves it's role perfectly....with a huge oversized car seat right smack in the middle of the back seat......it's the baby's personal limo. I drive the XType for fun, and it's like a pint sized version of the VDP. Real fun to drive...and I'm planning to get into the XE when it comes out next year. But the XJ is the classiest thing on 4wheels. I always get stares from the the drivers of the Lincoln Continental limos. Now THAT is an old mans car....the XJ is stylish and sleek....I guess once I started driving Jags they have spoiled me and I don't want to drive anything else.

I'm 33 and bought my xj8 2 years ago almost to the day. I love it! Mine is pretty quick, so I can't imagine how fast the xjR or SuperV8 are.

I came from a Jeep Wrangler that I had through college and the years following. The kids were climbing in and out of it and I was looking for more of a "family" car. I really like the uniqueness and classiness of the Jags. It seems like everywhere I turn, I can see an S500 or 750i, but rarely come across another Jag.

My kids tell me it's an old man's car - I ask them, "then why am I driving it?"

Im 43 and drive a 2004 xjr. I just bought it a few months ago and to be honest I was never ever a 4 door car kind of guy. When the xjr6 came out though I was in love. To me jaguar finally perfected that look. My pocketbook however couldnt afford that love.

Years later after owning various cars over the years I started looking again at something more practical. My definition of practicle though isnt the sam eas most. So I narrowed it down to either a used xjr, MB cl600tt or the porche cayenne TT.

After much searching and driving I landed on the xjr. I loved all three vehicles but the Jag just defined best of what I wanted/needed. Refined, classy, muscular. Im single with no kids and found this to be a great comprimise from the norm for me. I dont actually know why I waited so long. I definitely made the right choice..And dont feel a day over 80 while driving it!

MeatBag is going the speed limit today - 55 yo - in this corner of the Empire State - so I may have to move upstate where it's 70 soon. And like someone else said, you're not just another guy driving another Messerschmidt - an XJR is timeless.

Just turned 50 here with my X358

absolutely Love it to bits. I get a little stick about old mans car here n there but doesn't bother me. Makes me laugh, all the young boy racers in their little hot hatches at the lights left for dead mostly by something twice the size.......Grace, Pace & Space!

Peter's 22 in his X type too......don't think he'll ever get into the XJ, just way too big for him, but maybe an XF one day.

57 here. 2005 Super V8. Bought it last fall after selling my 86 VDP. Kids are all grown and think both cars are old school styling. I just say "thank you, I agree" I get more looks from women in the Super V8, while assuring my wife it's the car, not the driver as she should well know.

35 here. XJ8 is great, but XJR is the best car ever. Actually a X350 XJR is even better than the new XJ. And when i floor a pedal to the metal - yeah, i'm feeling like a kid And when i see it on a parking lot - i can't get a happy smile off from my face.

I'm 19 and I've got an X350:

And my friend's 21 and he's got an X308 V8

I've never met a Jaguar owner younger than me, although there's a few in their mid/late 20s.

Its a pretty logical answer

You waste your early years buying other types of cars that other people recommend

Then one day you say I am getting a car I actually like dang everybody else's opinion

Next thing you wake up one day owning a jaguar and wonder why you didn't get one sooner(LOL)
