Default Why You Should Check Air Drier When Rebuilding Wabco Air Compressor.

The attached pics are the Wabco Compressor Air Drier. The 2005 Vanden Plas has about 125k miles on it and occasionally showed C2303 DTC. The air shocks did not leak down and appeared to operate normally except for the DTC.

This compressor still kept the air suspension working!

I pulled the compressor to rebuild it.

Impressive that it still works, question is to rebuild, or retire, & replace it?
It has served with distinction after all, 15 years, & 125,000 miles, what more can you ask?????????
Found a nice used original Jaguar compressor last week for $120 delivered.
The one on the 07 has non of the six bushes, needed to mount the compressor.
It was going to cost me $90 to replace the mounting system, $30 for each one are you kidding me?????
Not on my watch, but at $120, for the whole thing, off an 06 in nice shape, is another story.
Look around to see whats out there, good used parts still are around.

Yes I agree----I picked one up from California last winter for $90 in good shape (for my 2004). I am thinking of scrapping this 2005 car so I am doing a botch repair on the air compressor---basically just putting the drier parts on it from the 2004.
