Windshield wipers park straight up???
I've been without a Jag for a few years now and just picked up a very nice 2008 XJ8. Beautiful car and I love it, but it has a few sniggling issues.
The most apparent on this rainy Tuesday is that the windshield wipers suddenly want to park in a near vertical position. They were working fine, I turned them on and they worked fine, and when I turned them off, they finished their swipe and then returned to a nearly vertical position across the windshield. There's no binding, there doesn't appear to be any slipping on the post. They pass through a normal swipe pattern whatever setting I use. It's just that when I turn them off they complete their swipe and then go vertical.
I've even tried turning off the car as they are on their way down. Even after the ignition is off, they merely complete their path, and then go back to vertical.
I've had half a dozen X300's, but this is my first X350 or X358. I'm completely at a loss. Any ideas would be most appreciated. THANKS!

Found a fantastic write up on the wiper park switch and how to clean/restore/refurbish it here: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...solved-119272/ by @Muddybear . Absolutely going to give this a try first. THANKS in advance, @Muddybear !!!
