Default Wondering if I can take the cd changer and launch it Ito the ocean and replace it

With a car based hard drive system? I never ever ever use the damn thing and I'm pretty sure alpine makes a car hard drive... Any ideas on this? I love my jaguar and I have many little things I'd like to do to make it "mine"... What do you guys think about this? I will try to contact alpine but I'm sure you guys are more technologically inclined!!!!

You can plug a hard drive into the USB port on the ACM Works great in mine, I've never even used the changer. Actually wish the changer could be replaced with a DVD changer but even that is archaic as the rear video inputs will accept a hard drive media player for hours of video entertainment.

No, you cannot launch it into the ocean. You are supposed to ensure that it is properly disposed of.

Could you expand on this? Is there a USB port on my '04? Would love to use an iPod as source.

There is one with the optional Jaguar ACM. I mentioned it somewhat humourously because the starter of this thread had been asking about getting one fitted in another thread.

No. Im sorry to have confused you. Ill explain a bit clearer. What I was wondering was if it was possible to maybe unplug the factory harness from the cd changer in the trunk and maybe with some sort of adapter that god willing was invented we could plug in an iphone or usb or maybe even an external hard drive and have it work with the factory set up but i guess i was overly excited.. My apologies
