thanks for the fast information
I sorted the abbreviations to have a better overview
---
But in there is a different list
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...solved-102871/
A= ABS Control Module
B= Body Processor Module
D=Driver Seat Control Module
E=Engine Control Module
I=Instrument Pack
K=Passenger Rear Door Control Module
P=Passenger Seat Control Module
R=Driver Rear Door Control Module
S=Security and Locking Control Module
T=Transmission Control Module
DD=Driver Door Control Module
PD=Passenger Door Control Module

and different again, the message is described here
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-again-124780/
Driver door module failures
-----------
Now I have three very different statements
"Config d"
a) ECM Engine Control Module
b) Driver Seat Control Module
c) Driver door module failures
Of course, this does not make sense.
Possibly affected the statements of different versions of the years of construction?
My cat is an X350 from May 2003
so a very early production
As far as I know, the electrical system was changed very much from 2004
--------------
And I apologize for my English ... I'm from Deuschland

"Config D is the REM. I had this a while back and fixed it by re-flashing both the ECU and REM"
the above is from post who does not read this forum anymore but has very good technical expertise in my opinion
and he has actually fixed the problem that you have.
Use an independent mechanic to do re flash if you can if not you will have to use a dealer but BEWARE since
they can be very incompetent

For some reason you didn't tell us the backstory. Config D is a fatal error in an ECU that has essentially lost its identification data.
This often happens when someone tries to coding with an non genuine OBD device. If e.g. car access data is read out in order to program new key transponders and the write back procedure fails because the interface is unsuitable or no voltage retention was connected.

So ... since the "Cofing D" error has no obvious effects on something except that the flashing ad is annoying, I have ignored the problem first .. that is always easy ... or the old green car belongs to my wife anyway And I can only repair it ...
An acquaintance who had learned at Jaguar and still works occasionally, once asked old experienced colleagues and I also searched on the net every now and then
Everything "rumors" ... nobody knows what
e.g.
- Error engine control unit => New flash required
or
-Driver driver-door module => replace required
or
- Bus between the control units => what does nobody know
or
- .... ?? ... ??
That sounds like despair with the experts
On the recommendation from the forum I have now bought a "icarsoft cr pro diagnostic device" for € 270 .. thanks "Mars63"
Amazon ... without advertising .. but if it doesn't help back without any problems
Just sat in the car for 1/2 h .. the device connected and the diagnosis runs to read the operating instructions ..
=> some errors found .. Everything that is reset can be deleted on errors ...
First disappointed that nothing happens ... still flashes
Then the engine out .. and newly left ... and surprise => everything is good!
I don't know which of the approx. 20 errors that was now. I don't care either
The diagnostic device is of course not sent back. 270 € for the "repair" of an error where the experts at Jaguar received gray hair alone when describing the description, I find more than cheap.
Let's see if this is sustainable ...
10 km driven ... 3-4-5 times the engine restarted .. Everything is good until now
What did I learn ... do something better than ask too many questions
