In what way?
To have the car fold them automatically when you lock it and you have the Sat Nav touchscreen then you can enable it in one of the menu options (My car is unavailable at the moment, can't tell you exactly how)
To fold them manually you should have a switch at the end of the driver door controls
Otherwise I can't remember if they are an option or if all X350's have them installed

Hi DVPV,
When you exit the car, try pressing the lock button on the remote key fob twice in succession. On our '04 X350 that causes the outside mirrors to fold in. If your car is equipped with motorized folding mirrors but pressing the lock button twice doesn't fold them in, the feature can be turned ON using Jaguar dealer-level software such as JLR SDD. This can be done at a Jaguar dealer or you can do it yourself (I did) with laptop computer, the SDD software and a suitable pass-through OBDII cable such as the Drew Technologies Mongoose . Search the forum for information on purchasing and setting up SDD for your own use.
Cheers,
Don

Limits!
Only cars equipped with VDP and NAV had the options available...any XJR (normally the exception) would have the option, unless ordered without NAV. Then it would have this option removed, and if you had an L but no NAV, sorry! I have seen several cars not have VDP but have NAV, and have yet to see one have the option programmed. Doesn't work. I was under the impression that this option was not available in the US cars at all. But that I have found to be untrue. Evidently, there is a programming option that enables it, but there is a module that operates it, only available if car has NAV.

And Jose, no problem calling me Dan - it happens all the time! :-)
I don't believe cars originally not equipped with power mirrors will have the motors already installed, since they would add significantly to the cost and there would be no reason for Jaguar to spend that money and not enable the feature. However, if your car has heated rear view mirrors then there's definitely an electrical harness in place, and I would think that it is quite likely that the harness already has the necessary connectors for power mirrors and the mirror fold switch in the driver's door switchpack. Figure 10.2 in the Electrical Guide appears to indicate that the driver's side mirror motor is controlled by the Driver Door Module, and the passenger side mirror motor is controlled by the Front Electronic Module.
Cheers,
Don

Well, Don, I stand corrected... Yours is the first XJR I have ever heard of without nav and having the power fold option... Mine, dad's xjr and my best friend Jack's all do not. We all have power and heated options. According to what I had been told, only Coventry built cars had the motors added...which precluded 90% of cars sold in the US in 2004... Guess that is way false!
