X350 suspension too low
Hi all, this is my problem, Yellow light is on and sometimes red light comes on and says the car is too low, could it be number 4 relay if so can I use another relay in the car to try. Had a bosch guy test the car and he does not think it's the compressor.
I live in spain so it's not too cold.
Regards Marc

Regarding your Air Suspension fault, I replyed in the other thread about where the compressor is located, front left corner behind the bonnet.
There are some interchangeable relays in the front fuse/relay box, when my compressor first started playing up, I swapped out the compressor relay for the high-beam one. They were the same. Don't remember the position off the top of my head...
Sometimes a new relay solves the problem, other times you need to replace the compressor. Try changing the relay first.
Also, you really need to have the codes read. Usually a failing compressor only shows the Yellow warning lamp. If you are getting the Red then it's much more serious.
Yellow = drive to the garage/dealer
Red = do not drive it all all, tow it to the garage/dealer
The warning "VEHICLE TOO LOW" is less common than "AIR SUSPENSION FAULT" but without having the codes read it's hard to say for sure what your problem is. In my case I never got the too low message.
Try swapping the relay, maybe you will get lucky.
Also, in order to prevent the error messages & warning lights, I used to start up the car & let it sit idling for 3-4 minutes, for some reason this (usually) stopped the messges from appearing.
