Default X350 Throttle Body Electrical Connectors

The electrical connectors on the throttle body of my 04 x350 crumpled when I last removed them. I jury rigged with pressure tape until I can find replacements. My only option so far is to purchase the entire engine management wiring harness $$$$$. Does anyone know of a source for the connectors alone?

Hi. That sounds like something you may want to get remedied ASAP. In the meantime, why not stop by our new members area & introduce yourself there too ==>> New Member Area - Intro a MUST - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum

I Google what I'm looking for and see if I can find the proper names and then I phone a salvage yard in Georgia for parts first as I find they have a lot of things that I need for VERY reasonable prices. Phone number 770-917-0690. Then I use eBay... If no luck there, I phone Terry's Jaguar in Michigan Jaguar Parts, Jaguar Accessories All Jaguars.

Search and search is what I can recommend. Sometimes you find what you need, sometimes you must concede that you have to get the whole part, used or new... or stick with what you have...

Thanks for your comments. Given the tendency of these connectors
to turn brittle with age, new parts are the best bet. So, far I have
found only bulk suppliers of these connectors. These are such
critical parts re safety, it would be nice if a few extra cents had
been spent to make them heat resistant.

These will work:
Denso Universal Electrical Connector Pigtails | eBay

They are not 100% replacement, the connector has 3 variations based on the locking channel location - top, bottom and middle. The TB connector used the middle location, but good luck finding these anywhere. Connectors with top or bottom locations are plenty on eBay, but they will not work.

The ones I linked are "universal" - instead of locking channels they have wide channel which fits all three variants - top/middle/bottom. I've been driving with one of these for 2 years.

Default X350 Throttle body connectors

The connector in the link looks like the throttle position sensor connector. Do you know if the same connector is used on the throttle body motor. That one totally disintegrated and I can't see what it looked like it's original state. It is a two wire connector. Thanks for your help with this.

I haven't accessed our throttle body connectors yet, but it seems possible that they are parts used on other vehicles made by Ford (even if the connector OEM is Denso or another supplier). Here's a link to a pdf of Ford connectors that might be useful:

The one I linked is 2 wire connector for the TB motor. The TPS connector has 4 wires and mine was in "like new" condition (must have used different plastic).

Thanks Don, this is a great info.
WPT-1269 and WPT-304 look similar, but I can't tell for sure.

Veffremov, I got the pigtail you recommended in this thread but it just won't fit (see pic below). Did you force it in or did you shave the channels off of the 2-wire connector is did you employ another trick??

Thanx!

It should fit wiggle it a little bit up and down. Because the channel is so wide it does not "lock" properly so you'll need to find the position in which the contact would go in the pins. Wiggle the back slightly until it slides in.

Any suggestions on removing that L shaped hose on the top of the throttle body?
