The X350 V6 3 litre

Hi Guys
Most of you are in the US, so probably are not aware that Jaguar sold a 3 litre version of the X350 in Europe using the familiar and reliable Ford V6 engine, in fact I believe they were made in the US and shipped to the Jaguar factory here in England.
These are now at very attractive prices secondhand, so I was maybe thinking of getting one to replace my Rover 75 2.5 V6, (an excellent car, by the way).
As far as I can see from the forum, the following are the main reliabiilty and repair issues with the X350 cars: -
1. Air suspension compressors fail and cost a fair bit of money, although service exchange units are now available.
2. Bush of value around £10 in aluminium rear suspension arm fails, but the whole arm has to be replaced, not just the bush thus costing much more money than one would expect. Why no service exchange for these arms ?
3. Bubbling and corrosion under the paint in one or two places, occuring many years after the car was made.
4. Abrupt/poor gearshifting sometimes needing a new torque converter.
Is this it, or are there other things I need to be aware of ? I am aware that the rogue cars of a particular marque tend to the ones featured in forums, and not the ones that keep on going. I had a Mazda Xedos 9 once, (called a Millenia in the US), which was the most reliable car I ever had, but the US forum showed a lot of people had trouble with these cars, yet I never did.
