Hello, I have recently purchased a 2004 X350 3.0 Petrol and wanted to upgrade the front (upper) grille to the new facelift version on the X358, could anybody advise me on the parts required. I can see that the left and right mesh parts are separate from the surround (and the badge) but are there any other items I need to find.

I do know if you use a x358 bumper on a x350 then the new mesh fits perfect, I never tried just a grill on my own bumper sorry. They look far better wirth x350 bumpers I think.

 

I have them at home, and could give you a parts catalogue 'screenshot' tonight, and it does have new grill inserts as well...constructed differently than your current grille. I'll tell you that new parts, all together, total well over $1000 (that's US). I sourced a used grille (the entire thing, including the guts) from a salvage yard instead and painted to match. Still saved over 50% over new. Crazy prices, I tell ya.
