Depending on when you car was built you will have 1 or 2 sensors up front and 2 in the rear. Vin numbers VIN G26872 and beyond will have the 1 left front sensor and 2 in the rear. Sensors are usually pretty reliable. Has the car been jacked up on one side? I've seen a XJ that had been jacked up and the mounting plate that attached the sensor to the frame was bent causing improper ride height (Sensor mounts to a plate and then strapped to the lower control arm). Sensor was fine - plate not so much. Once bent back everything was ok. The mounting strap could be broke as well if it wasn't detached when jacking or depending on where you live, corrosion could have cause the mounting strap to break.

Have you tried letting the air out of the right side shocks and restart the car?
