Xj8 will not start after replace thermostat hoseing
Help! I have a 2004 Jaguar xj8 (x350). I had a slow coolant leak, which I traced to the thermostat hoseing. I pulled the throttle body to get to the bolts to remove thermo hoseing, all procceeded perfectly, replaced thromo hoseing, and replaced throttle body ( I did not replace the TB gasket). Checked and double checked all connections, the 2 wire green and red connection near the top of the throttle position sensor cracked, but I have the wires hand fitted red on top green on bottom and they feel tight.
Engine turns over but will not idle, could I have damaged the throttle position sensor?
The car ran perfectly with the minor coolant leak, so now I have a car with no coolant leaks and a new thermostat hosing that won't run. Any help would be appreciated.
