XJR 4.2 cold start rough/miss fire
Hi
No MIL or DTC's but occasionally on a cold start if I blip the throttle the engine miss fires, when pulling away feels a little hesitant. Soon clears itself up. Not really and issue, just an annoyance.
I am suspecting the coolant temperature sensor but read that the coils/spark plugs may be culprits.
Anyone had similar issues, if so how was it resolved.

Had this a few times on my Xjr. Plugs were fouled. Once I changed them out it ran like new.
Once I changed the plugs and it still kept missing, changed the coils out then it was just fine. Start with the plugs if you haven't done them in a while and let us know if that helps.

NGK- IFR7N-10's are great. They would be an upgrade over the stock ones since these are one step cooler than stock. Some good info on here about how these could/should have been the ones from factory on the supercharged models.
