Default XJR parking brake.

I'm replacing the rotors and pads on my 2004 XJR. The pins retaining the pads on the rear parking brake have me puzzled. Fairly firm taps don't seem to budge them. Do they insert from the inside and tap out from the outside as the pins on the brake calipers ? I don't want to jam them so would appreciate some helpful tips.

Hi Jahill, go into S type how to guides in there is a section on parking brake pad replacement, the STR upto 2004 had the same Brembo's you should find some help in there. There is another post on the brake swop for an XJR but I can't find it at the moment. Scroll down the 350 XJ post for the last month or so and you should find it.
