I just sent an email to Paramount Performance asking about their exhaust, it seems like other than the Mina galleries axle back there isn't anything. I also like the idea of a twin screw supercharger!

Default XJR mods

2.5 lb Supercharger pulley kit + - their main crankshaft pulley kit as well from Eurotoys. Mina Gallery exhaust sounds great and not too loud.

Good gas. Using low-ethanol, higher octane fuels makes a tremendous difference. And regularly throw in a container of quality injector cleaner. I'm convinced you would see the difference on a dyno.

Anyone know which sounds the best the Mina or the Blue Flame, I would love to get the XJR to sound like an XKR a real mean British Muscle car. Pity we can,t get Spires Exhaust here in the US as they sound the best.

Why are you unable to get Spires exhaust shipped here? It may be costly put should be possible.

The 2.5-3lb pulley is excellent, but requires machining of the supercharger snout.

From what I hear on the STR forum the 1.5 lb pulley is great and a pretty easy mod with no cutting its just a pulley swop and the euro toys has no markings so no one will know you have changed it. As to exhausts Mina is cheap and well made but might be a bit tame. The STR has the same engine and tranny and they seem to mod more than the XJR boys do. I am going to look into the Mina exhaust but as I said the Spires would be the one I would want but at $2500+ it's a bit over the top for my 2004.

Hi kj217,

I'm looking at the same thing currently. I'm planning to start with a LSD as I get the impression that the stock diff is causing dampening of the off-the-line acceleration via the traction control system. I would expect it to make a fair difference.

It seems that most of the common upgrades (exhaust, pulleys, etc) don't make large power differences (I am restricting my opinion to those instances where people have proven improvements on a dyno). Hence, I am interested in a supercharger upgrade... although I see you would rather not touch the SC. I had a similar experience when modifying a Subaru with mild improvements with exhaust/cold air intake/tune then a monster improvement when I upgraded the turbo... ended up with around double my original power and torque!

Cameron just installed one of my intake pipes on his car with success. It was originally intended for the s type r but since the engines are the same, it fit. Check the last page of my thread.
