XJR Rear Multimedia
Hi,
I just bought my first Jaguar two weeks ago. A 2006 XJR in gun metal grey. The car is mint with only 17500 KM on the clock. We live in qatar and there is very little road to run it here so we tok it for a 700KM run to Dubai which includes a short trip across saudi Arabia. Without any speed cameras I was able to run her up to top speed and I was amazed at how fast she got there. This beast can really fly.
Being a Triumph and Land Rover owner I am used to quality British Engineering and the fun they provide, along with the routine maintenance that these cars always require. Toyota people shouldn't buy british cars. It takes a special type of owner to appreciate British cars. And I won't buy a Toyota till I see a Japanese guy driving a Ford, Chevy or a Jag!
I wish I could drive the car and watch DVD's. The sound system is incredible and just hearing the noises that come out of the door handles makes the hair stand up on your neck. Truly Awesome.
I have noticed one problem. When switching from NTSC to PAL on the rear control unit, the LHS DVD screen turns to black and white and starts rolling ( like old valve tv's in the old days). The RHS works fine. When I switch it back again it works fine.
Any ideas?
