Default XJR Stalling

Can anyone advise on the cure for my 2005 XJR 350 stalling at very low revs. when slowing to stop or just starting to move the engine cuts out. I put into park and start it up again no problems but if this continues sooner or later someone is going to run into the back of me. the car has 102k miles on it. just had a full service and had the ignition coils replaced along with spark plugs to try and solve the problem but to no avail.
thanks

Paul

Start by looking at fuel trims as you want to see if you have an air leak.

Hi Paul,

Thank you for reporting back with the resolution of your stalling issue. Could you please share how you diagnosed the problem for the benefit of future readers who may have the same symptoms?

Thanks,

Don

Hi Don,
I was a process of illimination really. Changed spark plugs and ignition coils but the problem persisted so it was the next thing on the list after checking all the hoses for leaks. The problems I had were the same as many posts on here and there is a long list of possibilities. Just thankful I found a cure relatively quickly and quite cheaply. Cost of used throttlebody 120 GB pounds.

As a matter of interest did you replace the TPS along with the TB?
