I appreciate the detailed discussion concerning the different suspensions. Just purchased my first Jag while visiting Hilton Head - traded my Caddy for it! 2001 VDP 90K appears to have been well taken care of. 80 MPH on cruise from Hilton Head to Greensboro (400 Miles) nice ride, although the cockpit is a little tighter than the Caddy.

Another Super V8 vote here. I don't like the XJ sans the chrome. Super V8 is the best of everything all in one.

My suggestion is to expand your search nationally. Both my last two Jag's were bought sight unseen and worked out to be fantastic cars that were not misrepresented at all.

 

go VDP. Nice ride and your passengers will enjoy the extra interior room. VDP and don't look back!
