I also have several versions of SDD/IDS, but the most complete package I have is v131.03 that came with an extra disc of calibration files. It's not as fast as later versions of SDD, but it's the only one I have that can successfully upgrade the TCM firmware. I purchased this package from a U.K.-based eBay seller. As far as I know, there were no later updates to the TCM firmware, so the file in this package is the latest one available.

Downloaded on my desktop and now copying to CDs. Large files of course.

I have encountered a road block with JLR SDD V131 +
I have tried installing it THREE times. Twice on one laptop and once on another both dedicated laptops with Windows XP Professional with SP3 loaded.
On restarting after installation EVERYTHING disappears as if I had done nothing!
I am dead in the water if I cannot solve this issue.
Needless to say this has taken many hours to get here!

How did you get the virtual machine on Windows 7?
I have done that before but cannot remember how.

Upload JLR then apply the Freeze program. That's what I did before swapping over to a split virtual drive w/ IDS and newest SDD on same laptop.

I have the 10th Aug 2012 so will set it for the 1st as I have not activated DEEP FREEZE yet.
I have loaded the Mongoose Pro driver ok however on my 1st attempt at connection to my car it would not read the VIN and when I typed it in and ran a scan it failed after 10 seconds.

Well now a little bit of good news!
I decided to try another version of jlr sdd on another drive which I had labeled V141.
On loading it was V 131 and what is more I just successfully re-flashed the TCM!
No fault codes at all now.
I will do the fill procedure now with a bit more care just to see what happens and report back.
Don I think your prayers worked!!!!!!!!

Ok so I did the transmission refill and took the temp of the fluid dribbling out and plugged it when it read 40 deg C. Probably a bit higher by the time I got the plug in due to fumbling.
During the process I went thru the gears twice. Car was on the level.
Immediately after going thru the gears I was able to pump in about a quarter of a liter however withing a minute or two it would all drain out.
The gears slip same as before and I get the gearbox faults same as before.
So will re-flash in preparation for swapping over the mech unit to the XKR trans if I cannot reprogram that.
Will start on taking this unit out when cool enough.
Will try and sell this trans as is.
