Default 15" wheels on an XJR?

Can anyone please tell me whether the XJ40's 15" Teardrop wheel (photo) will fit on an X306 XJR? I know they fit the X300 but not sure about the X306's front brakes...? Thank you. And don't despair; this is for temporary storage, not to drive around!

The brake size is the same for the X300 & X306.
More engine power but no more braking power I'm afraid, so if they fit the X300 they will be ok.

Why do you want to fit them to an XJR?
they seem a bit small...

Agreed! I happen to have a set of Teardrops lying around...they will be on the XJR while its original 17s are being refinished.
I couldn't try one on for size myself yet because we just bought the car and it has yet to be delivered from 2500 miles away!

It was a nice day, and I had a car up already, so I checked.
Yes, they fit.
Both pic's show them on an XJR6
I thought the calipers would rub, but they didn't.

Greg, I've got 34 XJR6's here in St Catharines if you need anything.

Wow, 3! I do hope you have at least one on the road for yourself. Thanks very much, I shall certainly keep this knowledge filed away. I took a chance and bought a '95 sight unseen (told myself I wouldn't do that again...). We'll see what's needed once she arrives....I do know the cupholder doesn't latch shut (big surprise)...the interior is charcoal (I don't have the code yet).

No, hasn't arrived. I'll put up a pic or two when she does...but not expected until next month : (
