The sensor near the throttle body (on top) with 4 wires is the iac (idle air control). Unplugged = open = more air though throttle body, probably higher idle rpm. Plug it in and it dies = bad iac, closing off air supply. Or, very dirty throttle body with iac passage blocked too much. However, in theory the iac should compensate for that, by opening more to keep the rpm in range.
check out iac started run fine until warm up and sometimes it dies before warm up. I unplugged iac nothing happened . Plugged it back in nothing happened run the same run smooth. P1775 ,p1790 codes. When it dies the battery light and engine light comes on. I also had 1 o2 sensor unplugged nothing happened run smooth. When it got to just before normal temp it would die and start up again run smooth and die.

Are you referring to the iac next to throttle body with 4 pins

i dont know why tps is getting spikes to like 64 from 12 at steady throttle. is this tps defective or something else triggering it. got this reading by graphing tps on obd2 it spikes to 64 only when it misfires. any ideas this is using Acton cp-9580 obd2 otherwise it is a flat line except on acceleration.
