Well,my 95 Vanden Plas 4.0L has an irritating problem. Whenever I turn on the air conditioning,after a while the windshield will start to fog. No matter what mode I switch the controls to the cold air still seems to blow out of the defroster ducts onto the windshield. Is this a faulty switch or a faulty actuator that could be causing the problem?

there is a front panel bite test that test all the trim actuators .

If the actuator motor is still good and the position sensor is bad you can drive it to a desired position with a 9 volt battery and clip the wire before reinstalling the AC ECU connector

Its cause there is not longer any foam on the demister flaps to fully seal. Age is a bitch.
So air gets around the flaps and fog the glass. Does it on my 04 also but im not pulling the dash out to put new foam on the doors, its not that big a irritation to me
