1995 XJ6 AC not working
Hello all, apparently I was posting in the wrong section on here, sorry about that.
I am new here and new to Jaguars.
I just got my hands on a 1995 XJ6 base.
Wonderful car, love so many things about it, however, one caveat is the AC does not work, along with a few others.
So what I know is this, regarding the AC and the climate control in general.
The fan blows and the climate control lights up, I can change the air flow like which vent it comes out, recirc option, the AC on/off, fan speed changes too.
The AC compressor clutch activates properly when the AC button is pressed, it does not seem to short cycle or anything.
However, when I adjust the temp on the control panel from low, to different degrees, to HI. The temp does not appear to change with respect to the temp of the air coming out of the vents. It seems to be fairly constant.
Any thoughts would be great, thanks so much in advance, really looking forward to jumping into the Jags.
