There is history of bad solder joints on the control module's circuit board. The moduel is under the ABS hydraulic unit. They can be sent out for repair.
Many have reported that simply removing the ABS harness connector at the module and re-seating it will cure a mystery ABS warning light.
Lots of other possibilities, of course.
Cheers

Well, I tired to reset the ABS harness and still have the issue.I got codes of 400 430 and 420 but I can not find what they mean. Anyone have any ideas. Probalby O2 senors or something but no other lights are on only the ABS after it is driven a short distance. Thanks for the help.

Your basic mk1 mod0 OBDII reader won't show you chassis codes, only "P" (powertrain)
If that's what you have, there should be a link somewhere in the FAQs that defines them
If you had read by IDS/WDS or AE w/Jag module, then ABS would have a "C" prefix. If it is the solder issue the code will likely correspond to ABS Pump inop.
Normal for it to go out after key off - it doesn't come back on for several hundred yards when the diagnostics have heard from all the wheel sensors and run all the checks and determined that you didn't fix it whilst shutdown. You need it read by a capable reader to be sure. Good luck and post back with your findings. If the module, do a search, there's a thread here showing the problem and the fix.

well what are the other options, I have checked all fuses, reset the ABS wire harness cleaned the connectors at each wheel and the codes that I goet we engine codes for left and right bank running rich (at start up) So I am still trying to fighre it out. Thanks for any ideas.
I think you're at a point where you take it to a shop (or dealer) who can pull *ABS* codes ....or start replacing parts and hope you hit pay dirt.
The P0420, P0430 etc codes are a different issue entirely. For those I'd start by inspecting the exhaust manifold for cracks
Cheers
