'95 XJR power driver's seat with a mind of its own
Sometimes when I open the driver's door, the driver's seat will move to a position that does not match any of the three memory positions, requiring me to manually adjust it back to the original settings. Setting all three memory positions to my usual seating position doesn't help, so I can rule out some sort of accidental activation of the memory settings. I fear this is due to some pinched or bare wires in the wiring loom that I'll have to hunt down manually, but has anyone else experienced something like this and found a more straightforward fix?

Many of these seats have gone wacky. Usually it's the potentiometers that have gone on the fritz. I never bothered fixing 'em on my XJR...I just turned the system 'off' ..... so I can't give details.
Others will chime in ...or an archive search will reveal info and tech bulletins on the repairs
