How do you get the rear ABS sensors out? I tried mine cor a couple evenings, with ZERO success. It would only spin a little once the bolt came out, but wouldn't lift a bit.

and he says that you cannot resoder the circuit board like you can
on the X308's. He also says that in all his years of repairing
X300's he has never encountered a problem with the abs. I have seen
many people post that there light comes on, and they send the
circuit board out for repair. He also told me that the anti-lock
is "Really" only for the snow climate, being that I live in South
Florida I dont need to fix the issue is what he said. Does anyone
agree with him? I hate the light, but if I dont have to really fix
it, I can just pull the bulb from the speedometer. Thank you.
in my case the light used to come on and the problem disappeared altogether when i put a new battery the ls one held only low voltage

Default Traction Control wires

I want to mention that on the Traction Control Actuator(MNA5930AA), at least on the X300, the two wire's insulation on the unit just crumbles eventually and the wires short out. I have seen this happen to several. On my own the ABS and Traction Warning lights went on. Eventually I found that the wires on bottom of the unit had shorted, but the upper end looked good. Some I have seen are bad at the top and bottom. It may be due to UV since the insulation under the black wire tube seems to be ok. I have not disassembled the unit to rewire it. I hope that the shorting did not permanently hurt something. I have not seen this problem mentioned and wanted to bring it to someones attention. Anyone with an X300 and traction control should be aware of this problem.

1995 XJ12. Looked at that little 2-wire harness and sure enough, both wires both ends were totally bare. Removed PVC sleeve and separated the wires to test. No more warning lights!! I plan to cut each wire, repair with heat shrink and solder splice one at a time.
I hope this type of insulation is not found elsewhere in the car.

Smog pump as you remove the plastic conduit near the pump connector

TSB covering pump part # and fuse uprating but not the specific local wire insulation degradation
