Exclamation Aftermarket Radio Dash Kit

My Original Radio finally went out, I ordered an aftermarket replacement but I could not find a dash kit for a single din radio anywhere, I was wondering if anyone knew where to order one. I just dont want to take it to a shop to have one custom made. Any Ideas?

Search here in the forum, there are links to the harness and a little dash fascia; but I seem to recall they were getting scarce. Might still be available. I'd try "radio" or "head unit" or maybe "aftermarket" - one of those should draw it up.
Maybe in this one, IIRC: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...uccess-195845/
In any case...beware the plastic mounting for the head unit, HVAC, and clock module. They are fragile as your wife's china and rare as hen's teeth.

Default aftermarket radio dash kit

I had trouble with my 1995 x300, pulled the radio, and sent it to San Jose, CA shop named "Short Circuit" @ 1933 Concourse Dr., San Jose, CA 95131 Ph 408 433-3900
Great, reasonable priced service, and you don't lose the power antenna and CD connections. I had them remove the locking tabs on top of the DIN mount so it could be pulled without taking the center console
apart if it needed to come out again. Follow the directions on this forum for radio removal, and do pull the bezel around the shifter- make it much easier...

Default Where did they all go

I purchased one about 2-3 years ago, From memory, I thought there were a few places selling them. I actually first purchased the harness adaptor, then thought Id also buy the Facia adaptor then realised it was cheaper, including postage and such to purchase a harness and facia adaptor as a kit and ended up with two harnesses,
Ive just done some quick googling and came up with

https://www.incarmusic.co.uk/fitting...ar-fascia.html
I have a funny feeling I got mine from Dynamicsounds in the UK but could be wrong.
