Air conditioning

Check your pressure switches like in the picture. See if you have the white looped wire or not. The fans were modified during the X300 run to help with poor cooling like you mention. The white connector, when looped, makes the cooling fans run on low speed at all times, unless the eng temp or A/C head pressure go up. Another problem this stops is blowing the fan fuse that sometimes happened if the fans jumped from a stop straight to high speed. If yours isn't looped, just cut the wires off the switch and connect them together.
There was a kit to add the loop connector and cap off the switch port after we removed it altogether. But I'm not sure they still supply the kit.
Cheers,

Shot my mouth off before engaging the brain. There is a pollen filter in the X300, but it's not a paper filter like most. It's a different beast that uses physics. It uses a series of tubes that causes the incoming air to make a quick jog to one side to make it's way through. The pollen in the air stream has mass that can't make the jog, so it hits the back wall of the filter and is captured.
Took a minute for it to come back to me. I'll try to find some documentation when I can.
***Parts catalogue indicates it was Germany only.
Cheers,
