Another Security Module Question

My central locking system seemed to have failed some time ago. I finally found a replacement security module and received it today. I installed it and it worked three times and then stopped working. I am wondering if I have another problem that is possibly shorting this module out. Anyone ever run into this with the security module? Mine has the LNA2600CC/009.

From my understanding the early 315 hz models has many relays outside the SLCM
The later 433 hz models get rid of some of the relays
There is a hard reset that is controversial if it is a myth but works for me
Since yours is a US model with original Jaguar / Alpine stereo head no precautions to having the stereo lock out / theft protection

There is probably something outside the SLCM that is intermittent bad to make the SLCM lock up on a logic step
3rd try corresponded to that item failing
On the hard reset the longer like overnight the better ,SLCM must stay installed
On SLCM module install the positive battery cable must be removed
Try for a many days leaving the tiny knob on the steering collum left from auto to off position
When exiting the car on key removal the linier switch ( sometimes freezes and can be lubed ) makes pin 4 to 5 of the ignition switch
This starts the go to sleep sequence of the SLCM , at the arrival of the steering and seat to relaxed exit position by position sensors it will proceed to the other logic steps like door and trunk lock arrival to lock position switches ( these can freeze )
The tiny off switch removes the seat and steering collum from the equation
You can read these lock position switches at the SLCM if they make the lock position switches
Brenden ( B1MCP ) found on his a corroded connector back through the car

Yes , you can clamp with a heavy starter jumper cable but is very small drain reverse current , place shop towel over exposed battery posts
Your draining capacitors and latching whatchumacalllits in the SLCM and BPM as these are hot - wired powered from the battery but not the engine ECU
Battery condition good ?
