Boot/Trunk Lights.
G'day Gents,
My problem is that one of my trunk/boot lights doesn't illuminate. I've swapped bulbs to the other side but no joy.
I've examined the RHS hinge loom and found three wires which looked dodgy, one of them for the troublesome light, so I cut and soldered them but still no joy.
Acording to the electrical guide each light is powered separately through the BPM (body processor module) so I'm thinking that there maybe a faulty connection in the BPM plug so I'll R&R it tomorrow and see what happens.
I've searched this forum and read all the related entries and apart from fixing broken wires in the loom there seem to be no other solutions so are any other suggestions?
Cheers,
Jeff.

The bulbs have 2 wire loops on the bottom of the bulb glass casting that can be sprung back out for better contact inside the bulb socket , to confirm this a meter test in the socket looking for your 12 volts , a resistance test will blow the fuse on the meter
other then that some corrosion can acure as the wires enter the bulb socket
The part # for the socket is a EV1 series found by ordering at the local auto parts store , you would have to ensure it comes with sockets to install on the wires
A swapping option is the yellow light behind the front tires , or easier the other trunk dome light
