Brake problems persist.

So, I wrote before about problems bleeding my brakes. The protagonist is a 1995 Jaguar XJ6 USA version. The front right wheel locked up so I changed both front calipers and hoses. I just couldn't get the system bled, so I changed the Master Cylinder. No joy. Sent the ABS module for repair since ABS and Trac lights are on. No good. I bled it at the ABS pump. Everything bleeds except the right front. The original corner that froze up on me. Checked all fuses pertinent to ABS. All good. I suspect the ABS pump itself has a stuck valve on that pipe. Seems to be the 4 port pump. I read they are no longer available. I should look to get a used one. What are your thoughts.

I was watching some videos on how to rebuild the ABS valve body on YouTube. These were not Jaguar systems but the function is similar. They are helpful to understand how the mechanism works. If the solenoid is inoperative or seized, than the line cannot allow fluid to flow in either direction. I'm working on flushing the ABS system on my XJS. There are some threads on this forum that help in understanding the system. You might find a good used pump and valve body. Just flush it out thoroughly before you install it.
