I'm afraid I'd say, SELL!!!

you've got an entire new market ahead of you with year round work lined up. Your going to do great and soon be able to get any car you want, perhaps even a 2010 XKR?

I'd definately stay away from the BMW as I've nearly lost the same friend twice in a 330 and an M3, the 330 that bit him on a wet day and wrapped him around a tree and the M3 that just went nuts on a dry day, rolled and hit a gate post. Also, watch the youtube comparing the 2011 M3 with the 2011 Mustang GT at half the price, very interesting.

Another option would be to spend $300-400 on gas and drive it cross country with my truck...But I'm not up for racking up 2,000 miles on her in 4 days or anything that could potentially go wrong on a cross country road trip. I'd rather not end up breaking down in a town, which the mechanics have never even seen a Jaguar!

Why don't you just haul it behind your truck?

I've got a 02 Tacoma 4WD with the V6 motor. However, the tow rating is max 5500 with the tow package I have on it now. The jag weighs the best part of 4100-4200 pounds and I did look into renting an actual car trailer for about $500.00

Those trailers are damn near 1,000 pounds by themselves. My Tacoma is by no means powerful even with the V6 vs. 4cyl models. Overall I think that'd be putting a lot of strain on the auto tranny being so close to the max tow load. Not to mention getting like 12 mpg...

Had it been a V8 Tundra that'd be another story!

Hmmmmm I dunno what to tell you. I would hate to see you sell your Jag (especially one in that condition) but its understandable about the mileage and possibility of failure. Is anyone else moving down with you?

Use a one axle dolly to tow her. Shouldn't be more than 4500 lbs total.

My younger brother is going with me. Not really worried about the Jag having issues on a 2000 mile drive, but I really do not want to put 2000 miles on the Jag in 4 days. It would take me almost 2 years to do the same with the way I drive it. (not even rain)

I've used a simple dolly to tow many, many cars with my buddy, which we flip. They were all FWD, thus the back wheels roll safely on the ground.

I would never put that much confidence in a RWD car like the Jag on a dolly being rolled backwards with front wheels rolling on ground. The risk of the steering wheel letting loose, etc, could lead to mass catastrophe.
